Cambridge to the Neck District (Eastern Shore) Route & Map

Begin your journey along the Choptank River at Great Marsh Park in Cambridge, where free parking is available.

Ride down Somerset Avenue, passing the Dorchester County Family YMCA (.5) on your left.

Now, turn left on Glasgow Street (.7), right on Leonard’s Lane (.9) and follow to the intersection at Washington Street/Route 343 (1.7).

Turn right onto Route 343, which becomes Hudson Road/Route 343, and follow until you come to a fork (3.1) where you will see a store.

Bear to the left and continue on Route 343.

You will pass a store and restaurant on your right (10.5).

When you come to the fork at Hudson Road/Route 343 and Hudson School Road (11.4), bear left and continue on Hudson Road/Route 343.

At the intersection of Hudson Road and Hill’s Point Road (12.3), bear right, toward Ragged Point.

Turn left on Ragged Island Road (14.2) and follow to the end (16.2), taking in the spectacular view.

Retrace your route back to Great Marsh Park.
