St. Mary’s Lake Loop
Roots. Lots and lots of roots. That about sums up this trail. That’s not to say it isn’t a great trail to ride – just be prepared for roots.
The St. Mary’s Lake Loop Trail is a multi-purpose 7.5 mile trail (white blazes) for use by hikers, mountain bikers, horses and fisherman seeking spots to access the lake. The trail is very well marked and the majority of the wet sections have crossings in place. Some crossing bridges are wider than others. This is a challenging trail that I would recommend. It has great scenery and is well utilized. There is a large parking lot with plenty of room.
Did I mention there are a lot of trail roots?
